Pennsylvanians for Human Life, Scranton Chapter (“PHL,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through phlscranton.org, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Information you provide: Names, contact details, and message content submitted through our forms (contact, volunteer, donation, sponsorship, presentation requests, partner inquiries, prayer requests, and newsletter signups).
• Donation information: Donations are processed by Givebutter (which uses Stripe). Payment details are handled by those processors; PHL does not store full payment card numbers.
• Usage information: Standard analytics and cookie data such as pages visited and general location, used to improve the site.

How we use your information

• To respond to inquiries and fulfill requests
• To process and acknowledge donations
• To send updates and newsletters you have opted into
• To coordinate volunteers, events, partnerships, and prayer requests
• For internal reporting and grant documentation

Third-party services

We rely on trusted providers to operate, including Givebutter and Stripe (donations), Google Workspace (email and calendar), and our constituent relationship management (CRM) system. These providers process information on our behalf under their own privacy terms.

Email opt-in and opt-out

Newsletter subscriptions are opt-in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email. We never sell or rent your email address.

Event photography

PHL photographs its public events for use in newsletters, on this website, and on social media. Signage and registration materials at each event provide notice, and an opt-out mechanism is available on-site. Individuals may request that a specific image be removed by contacting us. Photos of minors are published only with appropriate parent or guardian consent.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you have provided to us by contacting info@phlscranton.org.
